This hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Nardo area. The trail is 9.7 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 549 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will be retracing your steps on the way back.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. From there, you will pass by Fonte Quagna, where you can find a spring with drinkable water to refill your bottles. Further along the trail, you will reach Rifugio Forestale, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter Il Sole di Monte Nardo, an artwork that adds to the beauty of the landscape. As you continue, you will reach Monte Nardo, a peak with breathtaking views of the area. Nearby, there is also another peak called Colle Corgocciolo, which offers a different perspective of the surroundings.
Towards the end of the trail, you will come across several information points where you can learn more about the area and its features. Make sure to check them out before you reach the endpoint at 3.83 kilometers from the start.
