This challenging 10.6-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Cafaggio area.
Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your journey towards Monte Cafaggio. Along the way, you'll pass by the Cascata bassa waterfall, providing a refreshing and picturesque stop early on in the hike. As you continue, you'll reach Fonte Case la Valle, where you can refill your water supply before tackling the elevation gain towards the peak.
Midway through the hike, you'll come across Casello, a scenic saddle point offering a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding landscapes. Further up, at around 5.3 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Monte Cafaggio, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area.
