Welcome to the hiking route to Alto do Marco! This circular trail offers a challenging 8.416-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 458 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding experience for hikers.

Starting at the parking area, you will set off on the trail surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. As you make your way through the route, you will encounter various points of interest.

About 4.1 kilometers from the start, you will reach Alto do Marco, a picturesque peak offering stunning views of the surroundings from a height of 335 meters. This makes for a perfect spot to take a break and admire the scenery.

At around 3.65 kilometers from the beginning, you will come across Cima de A Caseta, a viewpoint that provides another opportunity to take in the beauty of the landscape.

Along the way, you may also find sustenance options such as the restaurant "O furancho do Mingos" and the cafe "O Alpendre" for a quick bite to eat.

Make sure to stay hydrated during your hike by refilling your water bottle at "Fonte da rúa," located approximately 0.03 kilometers from the start.

As you approach the end of the trail, you will reach another peak at 3.7 kilometers from the start, offering even more panoramic views of the area.
