This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Lac Noir. The trail is 12.592 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 768 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the picturesque Plan de l'Eau des Bruyères just 0.11 kilometers from the trail. Further along the path, at 1.7 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Refuge des Montagnettes, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain views.

Le Setor restaurant is located just 0.01 kilometers from the trail, offering a convenient spot to grab a meal before or after your hike. As you continue on, you'll pass by several water features, including Lac Crintallia at 5.33 kilometers, and Lac Noir at 6.3 kilometers from the start.

Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as checking the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike. Parking areas are available at various points along the trail, with Chalet de la Masse restaurant located 1.62 kilometers from the start for a post-hike meal.
