Welcome to the hiking route to Várút! This trail offers a scenic and easy trek through beautiful surroundings.
As you start your journey, you will come across the "Zádielska chata" restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a refreshing drink at the beginning of your hike. Further along the trail, about midway through, you will find the "Na skale" information point, providing you with interesting insights about the area.
Along the way, you will also encounter the "Zádielska dolina, horáreň" information point and the "5. Využívanie planiny" information point, offering you a deeper understanding of the surrounding nature and wildlife. Additionally, there are shelters and picnic sites available for a quick rest or snack break.
As you continue on the trail, be sure to make a stop at the "Horné lúky" information point and the "Pod vápennou stráňou" viewpoint to admire the breathtaking views of the landscape. Towards the end of the trail, you will find the "Horný Gemer" information point and the "Várút" viewpoint, providing you with a perfect ending to your hiking adventure.
This out-and-back route spans approximately 3.07 kilometers with an elevation gain of 147 meters, making it a relatively easy hike suitable for all skill levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey. Enjoy your hike to Várút!
