Welcome to the hiking route to Kei Lak Tsai in Hong Kong. This route is a 2.543-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 186 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners and families.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Yan Shing Court Car Park about 0.21 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will come across a water source at 0.11 kilometers, providing a refreshing spot to rest and refill your water bottles. Along the way, there are several shelters at different distances where you can take a break or enjoy a picnic.
At around 0.81 kilometers, you will reach a shelter that is directly on the trail, offering a convenient resting spot. Further ahead at 1.13 kilometers, there is another shelter off the trail, followed by a viewpoint at 1.18 kilometers where you can take in the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Kei Lak Tsai at 1.27 kilometers, offering panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to take photos and enjoy a well-deserved break before heading back.
