This challenging 6.4-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Groppo Nero peak, located in a beautiful area with breathtaking views. The trail starts at Piazza Sant'Ermete and immediately you will pass by the Pizzeria della Piazza, a great spot for a quick bite before starting your adventure. As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Torrioni di Sciarborasca, known for its rock climbing opportunities, approximately 1.32 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the hike, at around 1.21 kilometers from the start, you will find the Sorgente Acquabona spring, a perfect place to refill your water bottle and take a short break. Continuing on, the trail will lead you to Groppo Nero peak, situated 3.21 kilometers from the starting point, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you will also come across Giardini Argentea, a lovely picnic site located 0.17 kilometers from the start, and a bar, just 0.13 kilometers away, for a refreshing drink after your hike.

With an elevation gain of 654 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
