Welcome to the hiking route to Lac Lamat! This challenging 8.31-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.

Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by several parking areas for your convenience, so make sure to arrive early to secure a spot. As you begin your journey, you'll encounter the informative Les Cheneviers information point, where you can learn more about the area and its history.

Approximately 3.2 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across La Grange Restaurant, a perfect spot to refuel and recharge before continuing on. Further along the trail at around 3.23 kilometers, you'll find the charming Auberge de l'Alpette restaurant, offering a cozy atmosphere and delicious meals.

One of the highlights of the hike is the beautiful Lac Carrelet, located approximately 2.97 kilometers from the start of the trail. While not directly on the trail, it's definitely worth a visit for its serene views and peaceful surroundings.

Towards the end of the hike, at 4.16 kilometers, you'll reach the picturesque Lac Lamat, the final destination of the trail. Take some time to admire the tranquil waters and enjoy a well-deserved rest before heading back.

With a total elevation gain of 719 meters, this trail is considered difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear.
