This extremely difficult 14.943 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Lago di Desertes.

The hike begins at a parking area and information center. As you follow the trail, you'll come across a refreshing spring at 5.59 km into the hike, perfect for filling up your water bottle. Along the way, you'll also find benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views.

At the 3.43 km mark, you'll reach Colletto Pourachet, a natural saddle, adding a unique element to the trail. Further ahead, at 7.46 km, you'll spot another saddle called Colletto del Lago, offering panoramic vistas of the area.

Around the midway point, at 7.46 km, you'll reach Lago di Desertes, a beautiful lake surrounded by nature. This is a great spot to take a rest and soak in the peaceful atmosphere before continuing your journey.

The hike also includes historical points of interest such as a wayside cross and a wayside shrine dedicated to San Michele, providing a glimpse into the area's cultural heritage.
