Welcome to the hiking route at Jardines del Palacio de La Granja in Real Sitio de San Ildefonso. This 8.918 km out-and-back trail offers a challenging experience with an elevation gain of 318.0 meters.

As you start your hike, you'll come across a parking area nearby. Make sure you have everything you need before heading out on the trail. The first notable point on the trail is a water feature called Estanque del Cuadrado, located approximately 4.22 km from the start. You'll also pass by several other water points scattered along the route, perfect for refilling your water bottle.

Further along the trail, about 1 km from the start, you'll encounter the Laberinto, an interesting attraction worth exploring. As you continue, you'll find a series of fountains like Fuente de las Tazas de Abajo and Fuente de las Tazas de Arriba.

Near the midway point, at approximately 2.77 km from the start, you'll reach Mercurio llevando en brazos a Psiquis, an intriguing artwork that adds to the charm of the trail. As you approach the endpoint, take a moment to appreciate the panoramic views from the viewpoint at 2.23 km from the start.
