This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning mountain views. The trail is 1.5 kilometers long, with an elevation gain of 107 meters, making it an easy hike that can be completed in approximately 37 minutes.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by the Holzerböden parking area, located about 0.75 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a good spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Along the way, you will also come across a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.
About three-quarters of the way into the hike, at a distance of 0.75 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Bizathütte alpine hut. This is a great place to take a break, refuel, and soak in the mountain atmosphere. The hut is open seasonally from May to October, with varying opening hours.
As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this hike.
