This challenging 11.21-kilometer hiking route takes you through the stunning natural beauty of the Staffelsee area. The hike includes an elevation gain of 1001 meters and is estimated to take around 5 hours and 5 minutes to complete.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find convenient parking at the designated area. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before starting your hike.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the picturesque Staffelsee lake, located approximately 5.61 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to soak in the tranquil views and maybe even have a rest by the water's edge.

About 1.85 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by the Kluppenalm alpine hut. This is a great spot to take a break, enjoy some snacks, and appreciate the surrounding mountain scenery.

Further along the trail, at about 3.63 kilometers from the start, you will encounter an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history.

Towards the midway point of the trail, at 4.79 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Griffjoch saddle. Although slightly off the main trail, this natural feature offers stunning panoramic views and is worth the short detour.

As you continue on your journey, you will pass by another point of interest - a water source located approximately 5.61 kilometers from the start. This is a good opportunity to refill your water supply and take a breather before heading back.
