Welcome to the hiking route to Geier peak, located in a stunning alpine region with breathtaking views. This route is an out-and-back trail covering a distance of 12.736 kilometers with a challenging elevation gain of 1208 meters, making it extremely difficult yet rewarding for experienced hikers.

Starting from the parking area at an elevation of 0.0 kilometers, you will first encounter an information point at 1.86 kilometers into the hike, providing valuable insights about the surrounding area. Further along the trail at 1.85 kilometers, you will pass by Kluppenalm, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

As you continue your journey, at 3.63 kilometers, you will come across another information point offering more details about the trail and its features. Around the midway point, at 4.79 kilometers, you will reach Griffjoch saddle, a scenic spot with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, although slightly off the main trail.

Closer to the end of the trail, at 5.61 kilometers, you will pass by Staffelsee, a picturesque water body offering a serene ambiance for a brief rest stop. At 5.64 kilometers, you will encounter another water source before reaching Geier peak at 6.37 kilometers, where you can marvel at the stunning summit views.
