This hiking route takes you to Col du Saboulé in the Route Charles Rami area. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of approximately 6.17 kilometers with an elevation gain of 461 meters, making it of moderate difficulty and suitable for hikers with some experience.
Starting the hike, you will pass by several points of interest:
- At 0.35 kilometers from the start, you will find Lago di S. Gioachino, a picturesque water feature.
- Further along at 0.86 kilometers, there is another water source conveniently located right on the trail.
- At 2.81 kilometers, you'll encounter historic ruins, adding a sense of exploration to your journey.
- As you continue, you'll come across more water sources and parking spaces.
Midway through the hike, around 3.08 kilometers, there is another water spot for you to rest and recharge before continuing on your way to Col du Saboulé.
Towards the end of the trail, at 2.4 kilometers, you will find Testa Auta del Lausfer, a noteworthy peak offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Additionally, there are various cafes, restaurants, and accommodation options along the trail where you can take a break and refuel.
