This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Barranco Los Cernícalos in Valsequillo de Gran Canaria. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 7.077 kilometers and an elevation gain of 335 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. About 1.38 kilometers from the beginning, you will encounter some historic ruins. As you continue, you will pass by several water sources, a parking area, and a picnic site, perfect for taking a break and enjoying the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, at around 3.25 kilometers from the start, you will find a cave entrance and a beautiful waterfall called Cascada. The trail also features informational points such as SL-1 and Cascada Pequeña, providing insights into the area's rich history and natural landmarks.
Towards the end of the hike, at approximately 3.49 kilometers from the start, you will encounter more picturesque waterfalls to admire before making your way back.
