This extremely difficult 17.156-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Monte Giornalet area. Be prepared for a challenging hike with an elevation gain of 1169 meters.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the "Parcheggio Ramiere" parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before setting off. Approximately 5.6 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the "Bivacco Ugo Ratazzo" shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding views.
Midway through the trail, at around 8.58 kilometers, you'll reach the majestic "Monte Giornalet" peak. Take your time to soak in the panoramic views from this vantage point.
As you continue on the trail, about 2.38 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a fascinating rock formation. Explore this natural wonder and capture some memorable photos.
At about 0.73 kilometers from the start, you'll find an information point where you can learn more about the area and its geological significance. Further along the trail, at 5.57 kilometers, another information point awaits to provide you with interesting insights.
