This challenging hiking route will take you to the majestic Pointe des Éboulis in the stunning Corsican mountains. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a total distance of 8.843 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1139 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.

Starting at the parking area, you will first come across the Bergerie de Ballone alpine hut, located just 0.13 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to rest and take in the breathtaking mountain views before continuing on your journey.

As you trek further along the route, you will reach the Refuge de Tighiettu, an alpine hut situated 1.29 kilometers from the start. This will be a good place to refuel and recharge as you admire the pristine wilderness surrounding you.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Bocca Crucetta saddle, marking the 3.57-kilometer point from the beginning. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Corsican landscape and catch your breath before pushing on to the Pointe des Éboulis.

Near the end of the trail, at 4.42 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Pointe des Éboulis peak, offering stunning vistas as a reward for your efforts. Take some time to soak in the beauty of your surroundings before making the return journey.
