Hiking : cascade Bassin des Aigrettes

This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with lush vegetation and stunning water features. The 5.643-kilometer trail has an elevation gain of 155 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is estimated to take approximately 1 hour and 41 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking lot near the trailhead, you will make your way towards the first point of interest, Bassin La Mer, located 2.2 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This natural water basin is a great spot to take in the serene surroundings and maybe even dip your toes in the water.

Continuing on, at around 2.82 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Bassin des Aigrettes, another beautiful water feature along the trail. Here, you can admire the cascade and maybe take a break to enjoy the peaceful ambiance.

For nature enthusiasts, there are two parking lots along the way, one at 0.15 kilometers and the other at the trailhead. It's always a good idea to have some extra water and snacks with you, as well as checking the weather forecast before heading out on the trail.

This out-and-back route culminates at the destination - cascade Bassin des Aigrettes, where you can marvel at the cascading waterfall before making your way back the same path you came. Enjoy the hike and the natural beauty surrounding you!
