This extremely difficult 12.687-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Pointe des Sarrasins in the beautiful area. The trail begins at the parking area near Le Lavoir where you can find some information about the area. Make sure to grab a map and check the forecast before heading out.
As you start your journey, you will come across a couple of water points at the beginning of the trail, perfect for refilling your water bottle. About 0.81 kilometers into the hike, you will find another drinking water spot to keep you hydrated along the way.
Midway through the hike at around 5.16 kilometers, you will reach the Mines des Sarrasins, an interesting attraction worth exploring. The trail then leads you to the peak at Pointe des Sarrasins, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty.
On your way back, you will pass by more water points, allowing you to rest and re-energize for the remainder of the journey. Remember to pace yourself and take breaks as needed, as the elevation gain of 1009 meters can be challenging.
