This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful area surrounding Roc de Jany. The trail spans 9.512 kilometers and boasts an elevation gain of 729 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding trek.
As you start your journey, you'll come across a convenient parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Along the way, you'll pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you'll find a lovely water feature, offering a serene spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
Around the 4-kilometer mark, there is another water point, perfect for refilling your water bottles and taking a breather. Further along the trail, at approximately 4.26 kilometers in, you'll encounter informative signs providing insight into the area's history and natural landmarks.
As you continue your ascent, you'll reach the impressive Roc de Jany peak at 4.76 kilometers into the hike. From here, you'll have stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Additionally, you'll come across an informative sign about the Petit Col de la Roue and the Col de la Roue / Colle della Rho saddle points.
