This challenging 9.512-kilometer hike will take you to the stunning Roc de Jany in the picturesque area. The trail starts at Parking du Lavoir, where you can find some information about the area before heading out. As you make your way along the rugged path, you will come across several points of interest.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find a water source where you can refill your bottles. Around the 4-kilometer mark, you'll reach another water point, so make sure to stay hydrated throughout your journey. As you continue onwards, you will pass by informational points that provide insights into the local flora, fauna, and history of the area.

Midway through the hike, around the 4.26-kilometer mark, you'll encounter Petit Col de la Roue, offering a beautiful spot to rest and take in the stunning views. Further along the trail, at approximately 4.76 kilometers, you'll reach Roc de Jany, a peak that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

On the way back, take a moment to relax at the baraque poste de la roue 2470m, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings before completing your hike. The trail ends back at Parking du Lavoir, where you can reflect on your journey.

Due to the length of the hike and the 729-meter elevation gain, this trail is considered difficult. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking boots, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
