This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Beistein, where you can enjoy stunning natural landscapes and historical landmarks. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 8.864 kilometers and an elevation gain of 332 meters.
As you start your hike, you'll pass by Gasthaus Lechner and the historical Posch Kreuz. These landmarks are located close to the trail, offering a glimpse into the local culture and history. Further along the trail, you'll come across Sonnenfeld - Krausler restaurant and Bio-Badesee Sonnenfeld, perfect for a quick rest and refreshment.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Beistein rock, which is a natural climbing spot and a great place to admire the surrounding scenery. Nearby, there are several information points and benches where you can take a break and learn more about the area.
Towards the end of the trail, you'll find Wiesenbauer Kreuz and other historic wayside crosses, adding a spiritual touch to your journey. As you make your way back, you can stop at the various information points and benches to rest and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.
