Starting off, you'll come across the Étang de Bollement, a serene water body located approximately 5.83 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue, about 3.66 kilometers in, you'll encounter another water feature. For a quick break, make a stop at Le Poye, situated only 0.85 kilometers from the starting point.
Further along the route, at around 3.85 kilometers in, you'll find a shelter followed by various water spots at the 7.37-kilometer mark. While some of these water features are slightly off the main trail, they offer a refreshing sight.
Additionally, you'll pass by the Réserve naturelle du Doubs with its unique architecture showcasing the farm at Poye. Keep an eye out for the historic Roue de moulin and the wayside cross just 4.01 kilometers into the hike.
