This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Schettbrücke. The trail is 5.529 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 267 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. The estimated duration for this hike is 1 hour and 56 minutes.
As you start your hike, you will pass by a parking area at Trattenköpfl. Make sure to bring some change for the parking fee. Further along the trail, you will come across a memorial named Gerlosstraße, marking 0.14 kilometers from the start.
Continuing on, at around 1.98 kilometers from the start, you will find the Oberer Krimmler Wasserfall waterfall and a rock formation. Take a moment to enjoy the view and maybe even take some photos. At 2.11 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point at Schönangerlboden.
As you approach the halfway point of the hike, at 2.37 kilometers, you will reach the Staubige Reib viewpoint. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the surrounding landscape.
Near the end of the trail, at 2.76 kilometers, you will find the Alpsweg-Tunnel and a couple of viewpoints: Berger Blick and another one with the name Staubige Reib. Take your time to soak in the views before heading back the way you came.
