This hiking route takes you along the picturesque Route de Chaumont, offering stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The total distance of the route is 3.673 kilometers with an elevation gain of 206 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for most skill levels.

Starting off, you will come across a parking area, located 0.16 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, at 0.52 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the "Sur le Bugnon" information point, providing you with insights about the area. Further along the trail, at 1.66 kilometers, you will encounter the Mont Bayard information point and the Abri du Mont Bayard shelter, where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.

Midway through the hike, at the same 1.66 kilometers mark, you will find the Mont Bayard viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the landscape. Additionally, there are memorial sites and drinking water sources located nearby for your convenience.

Towards the end of the route, you will find yourself back at the starting point, where you can rest and reflect on the beautiful journey you have just experienced.
