This challenging 10.175-kilometer circular hike takes you through the stunning landscape surrounding Refuge du Pic du Mas de la Grave. The route offers 211 meters of elevation gain and will take approximately 2 hours and 52 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you'll soon come across the Fontaine de la Basse, where you can refill your water bottle. As you continue on, you'll pass by Chez Baptiste, a restaurant where you can stop for a meal or snack. Further along the trail, you'll find the Refuge du Clos Raffin, an alpine hut perfect for a rest break.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Refuge du Pic du Mas de la Grave, another alpine hut, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. As you make your way back, you'll pass by the Fontaine des Salomon, another water source for hikers.
