This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Mariagrube. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of approximately 1.248 kilometers and no elevation gain.

Starting at the parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Obersepterbrücke picnic site just 0.02 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at approximately 0.62 kilometers from the beginning, you will find the Mariagrube water source and the Calvaire wayside cross. These points of interest are great spots to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Evadés de Ballersdorf memorial, located right at the start of the route. Additionally, there are several historic wayside crosses along the way to explore.

It is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water, especially on warmer days, as there are limited water sources along the trail. Additionally, make sure to check the weather forecast before setting out on your hike.
