Welcome to the Mittelweg hiking route! This easy out-and-back trail spans a distance of 3.019 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels.

Starting at the parking area, you'll embark on your journey through the picturesque surroundings. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across several points of interest that add to the charm of the hike.

About 0.64 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Mariagrube, a scenic spot ideal for a peaceful break. Further along, at the same distance point, you'll encounter the Calvaire wayside cross, a historic landmark that adds a touch of heritage to your hike.

At the 1.51-kilometer mark, you'll find the Metzger Weiher and another lovely water feature. Continuing on, you'll pass by the Evadés de Ballersdorf memorial at the start of your hike.

For a tranquil picnic spot, make a stop at the Obersepterbrücke, which is located just 0.02 kilometers from the start or the endpoint of your hike. As you make your way back, you'll pass by additional water features and historic landmarks that add to the overall experience.
