This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Le Saint-Mont, offering stunning views and historical sites along the way. As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the archaeological site of Site archéologique du Saint-Mont, located just 1 kilometer from the starting point. Further along the trail, you'll come across the ruins of Chapelle Saint-Michel, Chapelle Sainte-Claire, and Chapelle Sainte-Marguerite, each with its own unique charm and history.
At around 1 kilometer into the hike, you'll reach the Fontaine Sainte-Claire, a picturesque fountain perfect for a quick rest and refuel. Continuing on, you'll encounter the Castrum Habendum ruins and the stunning viewpoint of Le Saint-Mont, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
For a well-deserved break, stop by Restaurant Le Saint-Romary, located near the endpoint of the hike. You can enjoy a meal and take in the peaceful ambiance before heading back along the trail.
As you make your way back to the starting point, be sure to visit the wayside cross and the bench for a moment of reflection and relaxation. The route will take you past Le Pont des Fées, a charming attraction, before concluding at the peak of Saint-Mont, where you can admire the breathtaking views before heading back.
