This challenging hiking route takes you through the stunning mountainous terrain of the destination area. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 9.872 kilometers and an elevation gain of 839 meters, making it a difficult hike that requires a good level of fitness.

As you start your journey, you will pass by parking areas where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Along the way, you will come across points of interest such as the Cascada de los Militares, a beautiful waterfall located 0.12 kilometers from the trail. Further along the route, you will reach the Monumento a la Virgen de las Nieves, an artwork situated 0.62 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the peak known as Pico del Veleta, standing majestically at 4.94 kilometers from the trail start. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, you will find various cafes and pubs along the trail, such as Skibob, where you can rest and refuel before continuing on your adventure.

Towards the end of the route, at approximately 4.94 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peaks of Campanario, Mojón del Trigo, and Salón, each offering unique vantage points and photo opportunities. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the saddle at a distance of 2.85 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.
