This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 12.686-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1314 meters in the picturesque area around Hirscheck.

Starting at the Almgasthof Baumschlagerreith, where you can find ample parking, you will begin your trek towards the first point of interest, the Lögeralm shelter, located 2.72 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will also pass by the Lögerhütte shelter at the 3.16-kilometer mark.

As you continue, you will reach the peak of Hirscheck at 6.34 kilometers, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Another noteworthy landmark on the trail is the Hagstein (Hochstein) viewpoint, situated 1.83 kilometers from the start.

Be sure to take a moment to visit the information points along the way, such as the one at the Lögerhütte (3.16 km) and another at 2.66 km. Additionally, you'll encounter the Hochsteinscharte saddle at the 4.52-kilometer mark and the Alblplan peak at 5.19 kilometers.

For history enthusiasts, a wayside cross can be found at 3.23 kilometers from the start.

This out-and-back route offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
