Starting at the Almgasthof Baumschlagerreith, hikers can fuel up and begin their adventure towards the Hirscheck peak. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Lögeralm shelter located 2.72 kilometers from the start, providing a picturesque resting spot amidst the alpine scenery. Further along the trail at 3.16 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Lögerhütte, another shelter offering a break for weary hikers.

As you continue your ascent, be sure to stop by the Hirscheck peak at 6.34 kilometers from the start, where stunning panoramic views await. For a more elevated perspective, make your way to the Hagstein (Hochstein) viewpoint located 1.83 kilometers from the start, offering a breathtaking vista of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, you will come across the Hochsteinscharte saddle at 4.52 kilometers from the start, providing a scenic spot to rest and refuel before continuing on towards the Alblplan peak located 5.19 kilometers from the start.
