This challenging 7.7-kilometer circular hiking route in the Stockers area offers a mix of natural beauty and historic landmarks.
Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will pass by several information points providing interesting insights about the surroundings. As you make your way through the trail, you will encounter a wayside cross and a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the views.
Around the 2-kilometer mark, you will find a water source, providing a refreshing spot to refill your water bottle. Continuing on, at the 3.5-kilometer mark, there is another water point conveniently located on the trail.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the Zum Hirsch restaurant, where you can stop for a meal or snack before continuing on your journey. As you reach the 2.2-kilometer mark, you will find an information point and a bench, offering a chance to learn more about the area and take a break.
Towards the end of the hike, around the 2.8-kilometer mark, you will discover a wayside shrine, adding a touch of historic charm to your adventure.
