The trail stretches for 9.887 kilometers with an elevation gain of 411 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding hike. As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the start of the trail. Approximately 2.45 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information spot where you can learn more about the surroundings. Midway through the hike, at around the 4.94-kilometer mark, you will reach the Le Cinglegros viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the area. If you're in need of sustenance, a fast-food spot called Buvette de Cassagnes is located approximately 1.8 kilometers from the start of the trail.
