Welcome to the hiking route to Großer Teichstein in the beautiful area of Kanstein. This route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 4.967 kilometers and an elevation gain of 159 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
The hike starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before setting off on the trail. As you begin your journey, you will come across the information point named Eingang Kirnitzschtal, providing you with some insights into the area.
As you continue along the trail, you will pass by the information point Dreisteigenbrücke and then reach the peak known as Schäferstein, offering you stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, you will encounter the peak Amselstein before reaching the on-trail information point Flügel E / Dreisteigensteig.
Midway through the hike, you will find the boundary stone named Teichstein, marking a significant point along the route. Continuing on, you will reach the peak Kanstein and the shelter named Kansteinboofe, providing a resting spot for hikers.
As you near the end of the trail, you will finally reach the destination - Großer Teichstein. This peak offers breathtaking panoramic views and is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery before heading back along the same trail.
