The route is an out-and-back trail, covering a distance of approximately 3.978 kilometers with an elevation gain of 137 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area with no fees required, open from 06:00 to 22:00. As you venture further, you will come across informative signs such as "Kirnitzschtal / Abzweig Tiefer Hahn" and "Kirnitzschtal / Neue Kuhstallstraße (Silbermühle)" providing insights into the surrounding area.

Along the trail, you will encounter several benches strategically placed for hikers to take a rest and enjoy the picturesque views. These benches are located at various points including 0.01 kilometers, 1.73 kilometers, and 1.98 kilometers from the start of the trail.

For those in need of hydration, there are water sources nearby at 0.21 kilometers and 1.99 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Additionally, there is a bench located midway through the hike at 1.87 kilometers from the start, offering a perfect spot for a picnic or simply to soak in the serene surroundings.
