Hiking : Monte Pugna

This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Monte Pugna. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 6.513 kilometers and an elevation gain of 206 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the Country House dalla Caterina, a lovely restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat before or after your hike. Just a short distance away is a drinking water station for you to refill your water bottles.

As you continue on, you will come across the Statuetta di Santa Maria, an artwork that adds to the beauty of the trail. Further along the trail, at about 1.75 kilometers from the start, you will find another drinking water station to stay hydrated.

At the midway point of the hike, around 2.13 kilometers from the start, there is another drinking water station available for hikers. Just before reaching the endpoint, you will pass by Bar Ciclamino where you can take a break and enjoy a refreshing beverage.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Monte Pugna at 3.26 kilometers from the start. Here, you can take in stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
