As you begin your journey, you will pass by the picturesque Lago di Romana, a stunning lake located right at the start of the trail. About 0.03 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Bar Lago, a convenient restaurant where you can grab a snack or drink before continuing on your adventure.

Midway through the hike, at around 3.8 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Bric del Gallo Nord, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way back, you will pass by Osteria San Lazzaro, a cozy restaurant about 1.9 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, where you can refuel and rest before the descent.

Further along the trail, at 3.88 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Bric Prato Fornace Sud, followed by Bric Prato Fornace Nord at 4.2 kilometers, both offering panoramic views of the area.

Be sure to bring plenty of water, as the hike is almost 9 kilometers long and can be strenuous. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on the journey. Parking is available at the trailhead, making it easy to access the starting point of this out-and-back route.
