Welcome to the Via delle Beatitudini hiking route in Trieste! This circular route spans a distance of approximately 3.36 kilometers with an elevation gain of 150 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for beginners and families.
As you embark on this adventure, you will come across several points of interest along the way. About 1.23 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Sella di Trebiciano, a natural saddle offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail at 1.56 kilometers, you will encounter two water sources for you to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated during your journey.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can safely leave your vehicle. Additionally, at 0.07 kilometers from the start, there is a shelter providing a resting spot for hikers. As you progress further, you will also pass by historical markers such as the boundary stone named De Rin 1883 at 0.54 kilometers and another boundary stone at 0.51 kilometers.
For informative pit stops, there are benches strategically placed along the trail at 0.76 kilometers, 1.2 kilometers, and 0.59 kilometers. Near the midpoint of the hike at 1.23 kilometers, you will find an information point to learn more about the area.
As you near the end of the hike, you may encounter cave entrances such as Cavernetta II a SE del Monte Belvedere at 0.59 kilometers, Cavernetta 1° a SE del Monte Belvedere at 0.73 kilometers, and Cavernetta 3° a SE del Monte Belvedere at 0.61 kilometers. These natural formations add an extra element of wonder to your hiking experience.
