This hiking route will take you to Mont Jalla, offering stunning views and historical points of interest along the way. The trail covers a distance of 0.962 kilometers with an elevation gain of 132 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest such as the parking area, viewpoint at Belvédère Vauban, and the restaurant Chez le Pèr' Gras. As you continue on, you will come across climbing spot Père Gras, historic ruins, and the Grotte de Mandrin cave entrance.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Mémorial des troupes de montagne, a memorial dedicated to mountain troops, and a drinking water facility for refilling your bottles.
Near the end of the route, you will find the peak of Mont Jalla with another information point and viewpoint. The trail is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps back to the starting point.
