As you begin your journey, you will find a convenient parking area at the starting point of the trail. From there, you will pass by a shelter located 0.2 kilometers into the hike, where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at around 2.1 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water source that is situated 23.7 meters from the trail.

Continuing on, you will come across several more water sources along the way, located at varying distances from the trail. These natural features provide a refreshing sight and a chance to replenish your water supply if needed. Additionally, at 2.17 kilometers from the start, you will reach the historic Burg Heppenheft, a castle that adds a touch of cultural significance to the hike.

As you venture further into the hike, you will encounter the peak known as Alteburg, located 2.17 kilometers from the start. This natural landmark offers a great vantage point to take in the scenic views of the area. Finally, as you make your way back to the starting point, you will find another water source located 2.04 kilometers from the start, providing a last opportunity to rest and refuel before completing the trail.
