This hiking route takes you through a scenic area along Obere Bassersdorferstrasse. The trail is relatively short, covering a distance of 1.774 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it super easy in terms of difficulty. It should take you around 30 minutes to complete the entire route.
Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Eigentalweiher, a picturesque water feature just 0.09 kilometers from the start. As you continue, at the 0.12 kilometer mark, you will come across another water point.
Further along the trail, at around 0.77 kilometers from the start, there is a swimming teich (pond) where you can take a refreshing break. Nearby, you will also find a drinking water station and several information points providing insights into the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, at 0.89 kilometers, there is a viewpoint offering stunning vistas of the landscape. Additionally, there are benches along the trail for hikers to rest and enjoy the serene surroundings.
It is advisable to bring an adequate supply of water, especially on hot days, and to check the weather forecast before heading out.
