Welcome to the hiking route to Hornflue!

This circular route covers a distance of 4.495 kilometers with an elevation gain of 297 meters, making it a moderate hike that will take approximately 1 hour and 46 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at the parking area, which is just 0.01 kilometers from the beginning of the route. As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. Around 0.55 kilometers into the hike, you will find the information point "Rumpelhöchi" and the bench "7550030356" where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing on the trail, at approximately 0.64 kilometers, you will encounter another information point. Further ahead, at 0.92 kilometers, there is an additional information point and a bit further at 0.97 kilometers, you will find a bench where you can pause and take in the views.

As you approach the 1.1-kilometer mark, you will reach the "Obere Miesern" information point and the "Rumpelweide" area. Here, you can explore the "Naturfreundehaus Rumpel," an alpine hut open on Sundays and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 17:00.

At 1.11 kilometers, you will find the "Rumpelweide" viewpoint, offering stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, there is also a restaurant named "Rumpel" where you can grab a bite to eat.

Around the 2.16-kilometer mark, you will reach the "Hornflue" peak, the destination of this hike. Enjoy the panoramic views from the summit before making your way back to the starting point.
