Welcome to the Homberg hiking route!

Situated in a picturesque area, this trail offers a moderate level of difficulty with a distance of 5.205 kilometers and an elevation gain of 332 meters. It is estimated to take around 2 hours to complete the round trip.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Rumpel parking area, which is just 0.01 kilometers from the start. About halfway through the trail, at 2.06 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Homberg saddle and the Homberglücke information point.

At the peak of Homberg, located 2.6 kilometers from the start, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty. Along the way, you will also encounter the Rumpel information point, Rumpel restaurant, Rumpelhöchi information point, and a shelter for a quick break.

For those interested in additional exploration, Sunneberg and Hornflue peaks are located off the main trail at 0.55 and 1.81 kilometers from the start, respectively.
