This extremely difficult 14.48-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Cima Rocca peak. The trail starts at the parking area, where you'll begin your journey through the beautiful natural surroundings.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, just 0.81 kilometers from the start, you'll find some informational points. About 3.57 kilometers into the hike, there is another informational point for you to explore. Around the halfway point, at 4.61 kilometers from the start, there is a refreshing spring where you can rest and refill your water bottle.

Continuing on, at 5.36 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Passo di Val Gelada, a picturesque saddle along the trail. Further along, at 6.07 kilometers, you'll encounter the majestic peak of Cima Sassara. For those looking to take a break, Bivacco Fratelli Bonvecchio shelter is located at 6.41 kilometers from the start, providing a resting spot with stunning views.

As you push on towards the end of the trail, you'll reach Cima Rocca, the final destination of this challenging hike, located at 7.24 kilometers from the start. The total elevation gain of 1591 meters on this hike will certainly test your endurance and stamina.
