Hiking : Velká Buková

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Velká Buková. The trail is 7.6 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 178 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as to check the weather forecast before setting out.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Trojzubec, a parking area located right at the beginning of the hike. As you continue on, you will come across Hájovna Trojzubec, a picnic site perfect for a rest midway through your journey. Further along the trail, you will reach Velká Buková, a peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you will also encounter various information points such as Malá Buková, Velká Buková, Víšek odbočka, 2-Horniny geoparku Ralsko, 4-Tvář krajiny v proměnách času, and 1-Vrch Víšek, which provide interesting insights into the history and geology of the area.

As you make your way back to the starting point, be sure to stop by Trojzubec - hájovna, where you can take one last break before concluding your hike. Overall, this out-and-back route to Velká Buková offers a challenging yet fulfilling hiking experience with a variety of points of interest to explore along the way.
