This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful Gafiersee in the midst of nature. The trail is 8.182 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 526 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. As you make your way along the path, you will pass by a cozy restaurant just 0.08 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a bite to eat or indulge in a refreshing drink.

About 4.02 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the area and its surroundings. This could be a great spot to take a break and soak in the views before continuing your journey.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.09 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning Gafiersee. Take some time to relax by the water, enjoy a picnic, or simply admire the tranquility of the lake.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back. Along the trail, you will also find a bench where you can rest and catch your breath just 0.04 kilometers from the start.
