Starting at the parking area with no fee, you will embark on a 1.665-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 68 meters. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest that will enhance your hiking experience.

Just 0.28 kilometers from the start, you will find the historic Burg Sterrenberg, a beautiful castle that is worth a visit. A bit further, at 0.29 kilometers, you will come across Burg Liebenstein, another stunning castle with a hotel that offers a unique experience.

As you continue on the trail, you will also pass by "Die feindlichen Brüder," a notable attraction located 0.28 kilometers from the start. For those who enjoy panoramic views, the Brömserkopf viewpoint at 0.82 kilometers and the peak at 0.83 kilometers will provide breathtaking sights of the surrounding landscape.

Before heading back, you can stop for a meal at the Burg Liebenstein restaurant, located 0.29 kilometers from the start.
