This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Kunnersbachteich area. The trail is 4.137 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 161 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. It is estimated to take about 1 hour and 21 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Bikertreff & Pension Ehrenzipfel restaurant, just 0.08 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink before continuing on your hike. Further along the trail at 0.44 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter for a short break if needed.

At the midway point of the hike, 2.07 kilometers from the start, you will reach the picturesque Kunnersbachteich. Take some time to enjoy the serene surroundings and maybe even dip your toes in the water to cool off.

On the way back, be sure to visit the various information points along the trail, such as the Bergbau-Lehrpfad and Die Aufgaben der Forstwirtschaft, where you can learn more about the history and nature of the area. Additionally, you will pass by the Anton-Günter-Gedenkstein memorial and the Wettinbrunnen fountain, adding a touch of culture to your hike.
