This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Петропавловск-Камчатский, offering stunning views and historical points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to Сопка Никольская.
Starting from the trailhead, you will first come across the Памятник воинам советской армии - освободителям Курильских островов в 1945 г. memorial, located right on the trail. As you continue on, about midway through the hike, you will find the Памятник славы героям обороны Петропавловска от нападения англо-французских захватчиков в августе 1854 года memorial.
Further along the trail, at the peak of the hike, you will reach сопка Никольская, a natural peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. This point is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery before heading back.
The total distance of the hike is approximately 2.25 kilometers with an elevation gain of 71 meters, making it an easy route suitable for hikers of all levels.
