Welcome to the Holzleite hiking route! This circular trail spans approximately 2.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 35 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration for this hike is around 37 minutes.

Starting at the Sportgaststätte Poxdorf, you can park your vehicle at one of the nearby wheelchair-accessible parking spots before hitting the trail. As you begin your journey, you will come across a bench after about 90 meters where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Around the 1-kilometer mark, you will find two water points along the trail, offering a refreshing stop for hikers. These points are located around 30 and 79 meters from the trail, respectively. Additionally, there is a picturesque spot called Schafweiher about 1 kilometer into the hike, slightly off the trail, where you can take in the beauty of the area.

As you continue on the trail, you may encounter another Schafweiher at a distance of 141 meters from the trail, providing another opportunity to connect with nature. Towards the end of the hike, you'll find yourself back at the starting point, where you can relax and unwind at the Sportgaststätte Poxdorf.
