This hiking route is set in a picturesque area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at Dammweg.
As you embark on this super easy hike, you'll come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking spaces at Dammstraße A14, which is convenient for those driving to the trailhead. Further along the path, about 770 meters from the start, you'll encounter a water source, providing a refreshing spot to rest and refuel.
Continuing on, at around 200 meters from the start, there is another water source for your convenience. Along the trail, there are also informational points such as Achbrücke Weidach and Achweg Bregenz, providing insights into the surrounding area. Additionally, benches are strategically placed along the route for hikers to take breaks and admire the scenery.
Near the midpoint of the hike, you'll find a playground by the Ach river, which may be a pleasant stop if you're hiking with children. For sustenance, Toni's Schnell Imbiss, a fast-food joint, is located close to the trail but not directly on it, offering a quick bite to eat.
Remember to bring an ample water supply, especially on warmer days, as the trail does not have significant elevation gain.
